Idris Elba s a British television, theatre, and film actor. He has starred in both British and American productions. He has worked in a variety of TV, and he is perhaps best known for playing Russell “Stringer” Bell, a Baltimore drug lord and aspiring businessman in The Wire,and the title role of Detective John Luther in the BBC television show Luther. Idris is also DJ under the moniker DJ Big Driis / Big Driis the Londoner, and a hip-hop soul recording artist.
